Bergen County saw double the luck in a single day — and two lottery players are now thousands of dollars richer.
Two winning scratch-off tickets were sold in Bergen County on Monday, March 24, according to New Jersey Lottery officials.
One ticket, a $25,000 Crossword Bonanza, was sold at Shopper’s Express located at 62 West Church Street in Bergenfield.
The second, a $10,000 Mega Hot 7’s, was sold the same day at Krauszer’s Food Store, 394 Ramapo Valley Road in Oakland, officials said.

Dylan Tuz, of Pawling, NY was identified as the driver of a red Nissan Altima that circled Wilton's town center about eight times in an hour on Saturday, March 29, local police said.

An intoxicated driver who crashed into a utility pole and bus stop on Route 4 in Bergen County on Sunday evening, March 30, was arrested and charged with after fleeing the scene, authorities said.
The crash happened around 6:40 p.m. on Route 4 East at River Road, Bergen County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Kyra Pazant said.
The vehicle struck a utility pole, a guardrail, and a NJ Transit bus stop, snapping the pole on impact and sending live wires across the River Road on and off ramps, Pazant said. The right lane of Route 4 East and both ramps were shut down.

Police have arrested and charged a 32-year-old man in the stabbing outside of a Lancaster Islamic Center.
Abdul Rashid, 32, has been charged with attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and possessing instruments of crime following a double stabbing outside the Islamic Center on the 200 block of North Queen Street, according to Lancaster City Police.
